The Requirements
While our preference is to bring on board an individual with solid experience, we are also willing to talk with less experienced candidates, as long as they are driven go-getters with the ability to learn quickly. To be a good fit for the Corporate Public Relations Coordinator opportunity, you should have:- Solid public relations and/or corporate communications experience
- Excellent writing, editing, interpersonal, critical thinking and project management skills, with a focus on delivering results
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns and delivering digital marketing assets including blog content, press releases, case studies, videos, and sales tools
- Knowledge of social media marketing and communications

- Comfort with technology; knowledge of data centers or cloud computing could put you at the top of the candidate pool
- Ability to quickly grasp the Digital Realty business model
- A bachelor's degree with a concentration in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing preferred

The Role
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, you will interact with the Marketing team, with external agencies supporting PR and content development, and with other areas of Digital Realty.There is a story behind every Digital Realty client; the members of the communications team and our agencies are our storytellers and are responsible for uncovering these stories, and for promoting the consistency and impact of our messages in our content assets. We earn and build upon our brand reputation every day, and you will have the opportunity to help define and shape Digital Realty's communications strategy and tactics.
You'll focus primarily on managing various projects, and you'll also develop content. A key part of this position will be obtaining and updating client testimonials for use in blog posts, case studies, and white papers. Video: While each data center is unique, a tour of Digital Dallas will give you a general ideal of a Digital Realty Datacampus. The tour includes a stop at 850 E. Collins, our newest data center on campus. Digital Dallas is located in the epicenter of North Dallas' high technology corridor, with electrical service to the park distributed via a dedicated, privately owned, substation capable of delivering up to 100 MW of power. Telecommunications service is provided by nine different fiber providers currently located in the park.

To be successful in this role you will work well with minimal direction, and will independently manage through roadblocks and obstacles. You'll have a passion for uncovering and telling client stories and conveying how Digital Realty clients use our services and solutions for substantial business gain. You will bring superior communication skills, a B-to-B marketing background, tech industry experience, and a demonstrated ability to interact with IT professionals. You should be creative and detail oriented, bring strong organizational and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.You'll leverage your interpersonal skills to follow up with executives and others in a professional and persuasive manner, helping them understand the importance of providing the input you need. The pace is fast here, so to fit in well you will have a pleasant personality and also enjoy working hard and getting things done. The ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities will be essential.
