Keys to Success

This is a role that will require strong technical and advanced project management skills, as well as deep knowledge of raised floor construction, IT operations, and comfort with basic cost accounting principles. You’ll leverage all of your skills on a daily basis. This is not typical project management, however, because you will be managing several projects simultaneously. We’ve already said it, but it’s worth repeating here: you must have outstanding organizational skills to drive and track so many projects. Every deployment is a small, specialized construction project and you'll be involved with virtually every aspect of each project from launch to close.

Just as important as your technical skills will be your interpersonal and communication abilities. You’ll build partnerships and influence the property teams at each location. Not only will you need to help drive the technical standards by which project teams operate, you’ll ensure that those standards are being followed. Taking a team-oriented approach will be key. Additionally, you should be skilled and comfortable speaking and presenting to high-level clients including C-suite executives.
