Why Digital Realty

Make an impact -- you'll collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams and see project through to implementation. This role offers the satisfaction that comes with knowing your efforts positively impact company growth and your professional career.

Premier location -- 365 Main Street is one of the busiest facilities in our global portfolio, with some 150 unique customers. In addition, it's proximity to corporate headquarters (in Embarcadero Center) makes 365 Main a high profile site.

Professional development -- you'll expand your knowledge and experience as you interact with a variety of internal teams as well as directly with customers. Our track record of growth, stability, and industry-leading innovation means we can offer the resources and tools you need to take your career to the next level. In fact, this position is open because the incumbent was promoted.

The "best of both worlds" -- you'll find that working for our company may be a little bit different. We are small enough, with only 800 employees across the corporation, that your hard work will be visible throughout the organization. At the same time, we offer an extensive portfolio of services and solutions.

Unique culture -- we are a collaborative, people-focused company dedicated to quality and continuous improvement. When you become a member of our team, you receive our commitment to your continued development and support.

Excellent compensation -- in addition to a strong salary and performance based bonus, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurances; flexible spending plans for multiple purposes; a health savings account; a 401(k) plan with company match and much more.

Keys to Success

Just as important as your technical skills will be your interpersonal and communication abilities. You'll build partnerships with colleagues in sales and property operations, and with vendors, and you'll need to be able to influence them, without formal authority, to deliver on projects and to ensure project teams meet technical standards. A team oriented, collaborative approach will work best.

You also should be highly motivated to learn and grow. Within six months we'll expect you to be leading projects independently, which will require that you develop strong knowledge of raised floor construction and IT operations, as well as basic cost accounting principles. At any give time you will be managing multiple projects; each deployment is a small, specialized construction project and you'll be involved with virtually every aspect of each project from launch to close. That means you'll need exceptional organizational skills and the ability to track a large number of details.
