The Requirements

To be a strong fit for this role you should have:
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience with cloud service providers or cloud services at a large IT enterprise organization Quick question for you - click here
  • Deep expertise in the cloud space with the ability to influence a vision for the future 
  • Consultative skills to listen to customers and to provide solutions to meet their needs
  • Strong communications skills, comfortable presenting to both executives and customers
  • The disposition to work well under pressure and take a proactive approach 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an openness to new ideas 
  • A high level of commitment to customer service, whether interacting with co-workers or customers
Preferably you will be based near one of the cities where we have offices (SF, Dallas, North Virginia, NY) but we are also open to a home office scenario for the right candidate. In addition to these requirements, you should be able to travel up to 30% of the time, depending on your location, for both internal meetings as well as customer meetings.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Product Management Connectivity Network Services, you’ll join one peer who works specifically in Product Management, overseeing our product portfolio. The Senior Manager, Cloud Connectivity Services is a newly designed, highly visible role with the responsibility to enhance the future of Digital Realty Cloud service offerings for our customers.

You will interact directly with customers to understand their needs and position our products and solutions to help them achieve their goals with confidence. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Presentations to executives regarding the strategic vision for Digital Realty Cloud services
  • Working with sales team to identify and generate opportunities to bring customers onto Cloud Connectivity products
  • Establish credibility and trust with customers to help convert them beyond existing Digital Realty services
  • Support the migration of customers to cloud products and services
