- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Bookkeeping experience.

The Role
Reporting to the Real Estate Manager, this role is essentially a combination of finance, bookkeeping, office and administrative support, and you'll invest the larger part of your time supporting a variety of financial activities, including: Quick question for you - click here- Cost-control, contract administration and a heavy focus on purchase orders (POs).
- Assembling and gathering information for annual budgets, forecasts, monthly reports and variance reports.
In addition your activities will include:
- Providing support to the lease administration function.
- Assisting in the selection and performance of vendor services, including preparation of requests for proposals and service agreements. You'll also monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance and standards established in the service agreement are being met.
- Scheduling and facilitating maintenance with vendors and customers.
- Documenting and tracking all certificates of insurance from vendors and customers.
- Maintaining accurate and pertinent information for vendors and customers.
- Preparing correspondence to customers and vendors.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and customer events.

Keys to Success
To excel in this role you will be flexible and adaptable; there will be lots going on, and priorities and deadlines will change frequently. You may start the day with a well laid out to-do list, but you can expect that list to change more than once! This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and we're continuing to grow and expand. To fit in well with the team you will be comfortable moving quickly and able to take direction with a "can do" attitude.Some key elements to your success in this role will be your professionalism, understanding of office etiquette and ability to remain calm in high pressure situations. You'll communicate with a variety of contacts and partners on the Operations team on a daily basis and we're looking for someone with the interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with these contacts and colleagues.
You'll be resourceful, learn quickly, and accomplish tasks autonomously, but you also will know when to ask for help or clarification. You'll take direction from multiple people throughout the day, so you will need to be proactive about "managing up" and establishing priorities. To be an outstanding Property Assistant you will volunteer to help with additional tasks whenever you are up to date with your own responsibilities.
