Why Join Digital Realty

Visibility & influence
This role enjoys wide visibility to senior leaders. Not only will you work closely with your supervisor and the COO of Business Operations, you will have further exposure as you present to the Executive Leadership Team and even the Board. Your successes will be noticed! Additionally, your work can have wide-reaching influence over the short- and long-term. It's an exciting opportunity to drive strategy.

Career opportunities
Because of the visibility and influence you will enjoy, this role provides a prime platform for developing and growing your career. Depending on your skillset and ambition, you could pursue lateral moves in strategy or asset management, or promotional moves, perhaps stepping up to a senior manager, director or even VP role.

Department / functional growth
While you won't initially have any direct reports, we anticipate the department will grow in short order. As early as 2017, you could be in a position to supervise one or even several analysts. We will ramp up the team as need demands.

Work/life balance
While you will work hard, you will also enjoy a nice balance between work and life. Most of the time you’ll work reasonable hours. Twice a year, however, you will be involved in Board Preps. During those times it’s “all hands onboard” and you could put in 70 or even 80 hour weeks, but then you'll fall back into more traditional business hours. Additionally, travel is reasonable and you will be home most nights.

Exciting time to join
With the acquisition of Telx, Digital Realty adds robust colocation, strategic network dense connectivity, a vast and open partner ecosystem and unmatched freedom of choice to one of the world's largest data center footprints. As we integrate processes and teams from the two companies, there will be opportunities for strong performers to make their mark.

The "best of both worlds"
You'll find that working for our company may be a little bit different. We are small enough, with only 1400 employees across our global portfolio, that your hard work will be visible throughout the organization, yet our extensive offering of services and solutions and proven track record of growth; stability and industry-leading innovation give you the resources and tools you need to build a long-term career.

Unique culture
We are a collaborative, people-focused company dedicated to quality and continuous improvement. When you become a member of our team, you receive our commitment to your continued development and support.

Strong foundation

Pictured: from Dublin (top) to Singapore (bottom), Digital Realty is about removing limits to global business. Through our seamless, interconnected global network we offer more open data center service choices than anyone, including choices around vendors, service partners, network carriers, configurations and locations. The challenge, from a security standpoint, is to ensure that our data centers are performance gear, not straitjackets, bringing greater productivity and agility while still safeguarding valuable data.

Keys to Success

Upon joining us, you will dedicate yourself to knowledge gain as you learn our products, markets, business plans and more. If you know data centers you'll have an advantage, but if you don't, you'll need to learn quickly. Of course, we'll provide the training you need to excel in your role, and you'll be proactive in identifying gaps that could hinder your success.

As you're learning and becoming acclimated, you'll also begin building strong relationships. It will be important to demonstrate your talent early on, earn credibility and take a team-oriented, collaborative approach throughout your work.  Additionally, to be good fit for the team, you will:
