You will be our first in-house resource and serve as a key stakeholder and direct contributor to the global implementation of a new HRIS: Oracle Fusion HCM/Cloud. You will be involved from the very beginning from defining objectives to configuration design to workflow documentation, analysis, data migration, system testing and more. This is a "soup to nuts" role and you will take point from the beginning through to maintenance. Upon the successful implementation of the new HRIS, you will be responsible for the ongoing delivery, design, maintenance and configuration of the system.

Daily Activities

Why Digital Realty

Professional & Career Development
You will learn two industries in this position, real estate and high-tech, and also expand your global experience. Once you have mastered this role you may take on new responsibilities, and we're always looking for strong performers to move up within HR or other areas of the company.

Ownership & Influence
This is a role where you can drive solutions and influence outcomes. There won’t be any hand holding and you won’t be told what you should do next. Instead, you will jump in with both feet, determine what needs to be done, plan and influence outcomes and more. Your manager believes that no one has all the answers and commonly uses a meeting strategy where the team debates to the right answer. That gives you an inkling of our culture – it’s proactive, collaborative and has a bias toward action.

Department / functional growth
We anticipate the department will grow, putting you in a prime position to step up and supervise lower level analysts. We will ramp up the team as need demands.

Exciting time to join
With the acquisition of Telx, Digital Realty adds robust colocation, strategic network dense connectivity, a vast and open partner ecosystem and unmatched freedom of choice to one of the world's largest data center footprints. As we integrate processes and teams from the two companies, there will be opportunities for strong performers to make their mark.

The "best of both worlds"
You'll find that working for our company may be a little bit different. We are small enough, with only 1400 employees across our global portfolio, that your hard work will be visible throughout the organization, yet our extensive offering of services and solutions and proven track record of growth; stability and industry-leading innovation give you the resources and tools you need to build a long-term career.

Unique culture
We are a collaborative, people-focused company dedicated to quality and continuous improvement. When you become a member of our team, you also receive our commitment to your continued development and support.

Strong foundation
Our financial strength and stability provide our customers with the assurance that Digital Realty and Telx will be their partner for current data center needs and those in the future, and our investment credit ratings provide us access to paths for more capital. We view each of our customers as a long-term partner.

Green standard for sustainability
We are committed to improving the performance and energy efficiency of our data centers through the creation, adoption and promotion of industry-leading best data center practices and experience. We are pioneers in thinking about green data centers and are also a Contributing Member of The Green Grid.

Excellent compensation
In addition to a competitive wage and discretionary bonus potential, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes all you would expect plus some pleasant surprises, like multiple flexible spending plans, a generous company match on the 401(k) plan, and more.

Pictured: from Dublin (top) to Singapore (bottom), Digital Realty is about removing limits to global business. Through our seamless, interconnected global network we offer more open data center service choices than anyone, including choices around vendors, service partners, network carriers, configurations and locations. The challenge, from a security standpoint, is to ensure that our data centers are performance gear, not straitjackets, bringing greater productivity and agility while still safeguarding valuable data.

Keys to Success

Naturally, the degree to which you take ownership of your role and become our SME for HRIS will determine how strong your foundation for success. To excel in our fast-paced environment, you should make a habit of seeing what needs to be done and proactively jumping in and doing it. While you don’t need to the polish of a key-note speaker, you do need enough interpersonal savvy to build strong relationships with the HR team and other key stakeholders, particularly in IT and Accounting.

As the tool evolves, you will learn and adapt, making adjustments as needed to meet the business needs. We'll look to you to take your objectives, lay out the steps, and achieve your goals with determined self-initiative. By the end of the first quarter, we'll expect that you are acclimated and building your reputation. To help earn that reputation, you will:
  • Present an argument or data in a way that laymen can understand and respond to
  • Be responsive to your HR Team and the business, supporting change as needed.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy throughout your work.
  • Maintain confidentiality while adhering to tight schedules and handling multiple responsibilities.
  • Exercise good judgment and discretion.
  • Remain flexible and upbeat in our dynamic environment.
