More Good Reasons

Professional development
The Asset Managers oversee all aspects of their properties' operations, which means you'll gain broad and deep exposure to almost all facets of our business, from leasing to investments to design/construction to marketing and more. Many of the reports you help create will be seen by corporate executives. In addition, we are committed to helping our people grow professionally, including providing training opportunities.

Career options

In addition, the broad background you acquire in this role could serve you well if you are interested in going after opportunities in other areas, such as Marketing, Sales, Acquisitions or Operations.

The "best of both worlds"
You'll find that working for our company may be a little bit different. We are small enough, with only 1400 employees across our global portfolio, that your hard work will be visible throughout the organization. Yet our extensive offering of services and solutions, and proven track record of growth, stability and industry-leading innovation, give you the resources and tools you need to take your career to the next level.

Unique culture
We are a collaborative, people-focused company dedicated to quality and continuous improvement. When you become a member of our team, you receive our commitment to your continued development and support.

Growth without limits
We merged with DuPont Fabros Technology (DFT), effective in September, accelerating our commitment to provide the most comprehensive set of data center solutions and expertise in the market. We now are able to support deployments ranging from single-cabinet colocation and interconnection to multi-megawatt to hyperscale. The combined company has an equity market cap of approximately $27 billion, and a total enterprise value of over $35 billion. According to industry analysts, the combined company will be the largest wholesale data-center REIT in the US.

Green standard for sustainability
We are committed to improving the performance and energy efficiency of our data centers through the creation, adoption and promotion of industry-leading best data center practices and experience. We are pioneers in thinking about green data centers and are also a Contributing Member of The Green Grid.

Excellent compensation
In addition to a competitive hourly wage, steady overtime (typically, you will work about 40 to 50 hours/week), and discretionary bonus potential, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes all you would expect plus some pleasant surprises, like multiple flexible spending plans, a generous company match on the 401(k) plan, and more.

For example, 1210 Integrity Drive (above), in Richardson, TX, is located on the premier mission critical data center and telecommunications campus in Dallas. Below, 7500 Metro Drive, Austin, is located in one of the hottest tech communities on the planet

Keys to Success

To be successful in this role, upon joining us you will be proactive about learning and about applying what you learn quickly. You should have an inquisitive mind, the ability to evaluate the big picture, creating what/if scenarios, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization -- collaboration will be key as will building relationships across different locations. You'll often depend on others for the information you need, so should be able to influence without authority and leverage good follow-up habits.

As you conduct analyses and prepare reports, you should transform the technical information into non-technical language, and highlight the most relevant information in ways that suggest action. You'll have occasion to make presentations and, in those situations, you should be comfortable and competent at thinking on your feet.

To fit in well with the team, you should be able to thrive in a fast-moving environment and maintain an easy-going manner and sense of humor, even as you undertake your responsibilities with a sense of urgency and care.
