The Requirements
To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Senior Security Architect opportunity, you will have:- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in technical roles in cyber security

- Deep security expertise in at least one of the following:
- Windows and Active Directory
- Networking/routing/switching
- Applications based on .NET, C or C#
- Experience with:
- Implementation of technical controls including WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM, AV, EDR, Application Whitelisting, PKI, Vulnerability Management, 2FA and defense in depth
- Scripting language(s) such as Powershell, Python or Perl
- ICS/SCADA systems and architectures
- A track record of success in securing large and complex environments, such as data centers or other industrial spaces
- Experience navigating business through complex risk decisions
- Initiative and the ability to achieve goals independently
- Experience mentoring and developing junior resources
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present technical information in an understandable manner
- The ability to act as a calming force under stressful conditions
- The ability to evangelize the importance and value of security programs
- Relevant certifications such as ISC2, ISACA, GIAC and/or COMPTIA
- A career that has followed a technical (rather than management) path
- Military, intelligence community and/or law enforcement experience
The Role
Reporting to the Director, Information Security, you will join a team that includes two other Senior Security Architects. The team divides responsibilities among Windows/AD, networking/systems and applications. The larger team also includes engineers and analysts.You will play a key role in the strategic and operational components of the cyber security program. This role will define the technical strategy and supporting architecture. We'll expect you to leverage your forward-thinking problem-solving skills to address business risks by employing defense in depth practices.
You'll act as an authoritative resource in application, system, network and physical security from an attacker's perspective. In addition, you'll make hands-on contributions, leveraging your strong technical expertise. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading security assessments of third-party and internal applications, networks and physical systems
