Reporting to the Senior Director, you will assist with and support the operations, business and financial responsibilities of the properties and business operations within an assigned region, providing various financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting/re-forecasts. A large component of your role will involve special projects and coordination with the property teams and corporate initiatives. Special projects will be diverse and may involve working on specific property-level projects such as capital budgeting and P&L research, supporting regional leaders with resource planning, developing PowerPoint decks for regional meetings and financial reporting, sourcing and evaluating vendors, trend analysis, etc.   Quick question for you - click here

To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Financial & Business Analyst, Portfolio Operations opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Real Estate, Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a master's degree is a plus
  • 5 to 7 years of related experience in commercial property management or asset management, private equity, accounting, consulting and/or financial reporting, including:

More About the Role
In addition to the responsibilities described in The Role tab, as part of your specific responsibilities, you will:
  • Work closely with the Senior Director to perform and meet annual business, lease and customer goals
  • Support or perform internal property-level profit and loss reporting, and variance analysis; assist in the preparation of financial budgeting, forecasts, expense analysis and accruals, and true-ups; establish, reconcile and administer estimated/actual recoveries; and administer and support other property management reporting and analysis requirements 
  • Prepare correspondence, memos, presentations and reports
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with colleagues, partners and others
  • Support regional administrative office assignments such as organizing meetings such as quarterly business reviews, other corporate events and handle other assigned duties that may be required
