To be a strong fit for the Property Assistant opportunity, you should also have:

Reporting to the Real Estate Manager, you will join a team that also includes an Assistant Real Estate Manager, and be responsible for office management, accounts payable processes, purchase order creation, invoicing, vendor services, and maintaining files. You will work at our Lafayette Street location (pictured) and support a portfolio of five additional facilities all located within a mile. You'll spend the majority of your time working in the Yardi leasing software application, processing purchase orders and vendor invoices, and maintaining current Certificates of Insurance. The monthly volume of transactions is high (~300 invoices and 150 POs); we have more than 50 active customers and 80 active vendors. Specifically, you will:
  • Manage the office environment. Distribute incoming mail; schedule and coordinate meetings and customer/employee events; order office, kitchen, and break room supplies; etc.
  • Document and track all certificates of insurance from vendors and customers.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, purchase order creation, payment of expenses and preparation of all related documentation.
  • Assist in the selection and performance of vendor services, including preparation of requests for proposals and drafting service agreements.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.
  • Assist in scheduling and facilitating maintenance with vendors and customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
