This is a hybrid, day shift role, ideally located in San Francisco or Chicago, including approximately a 50/50 mix of remote and data center hours. We may also consider outstanding, fully remote candidates in other areas of the U.S.

To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Provisioner II opportunity, you will have:

• High proficiency in managing and resolving customer inquiries

• General knowledge of circuit provisioning
• Knowledge of/IXC/CLEC/inter-company operations and procedures
• Data center experience is a plus

Reporting to the Provisioning Manager, as Provisioner II, you will join a proven and cohesive Provisioning team on the customer-focused, Service Assurance side, and support customer orders as they relate to interconnection services. You will learn and understand Digital Realty's business model and daily operations, and work internally with our implementation teams, the Global Command Center, Billing, and the Customer Service team to create a positive customer experience. More about the role
In addition to the responsibilities described in The Role tab, you will:

• Review customer cross connect and disconnect requests for all interconnection services
• Troubleshoot all CFAs (Circuit Facility Assignments) with the customer, carriers, and onsite Digital Realty staff
• Verify LOA (Letter of Authorization) information and ensure accurate billing is applied as per customer contract
• Apply accurate products to each customer interconnection order and ensure its correctness within inventory and billing systems
• Act as the primary point for various data entry projects

Keys to your success
To excel in this role you will demonstrate initiative in learning our process flow, databases and Salesforce so you can get up to speed quickly. You'll leverage your technical knowledge daily but will also maintain a strong customer focus as you get to know our customers and their preferences. With direct customer interaction being frequent, you’ll want to be specific, clear and helpful in your communication.

To fit in well with the team, you should be willing to pitch in and help other provisioners when their workloads spike, and they'll do the same for you. The team is dispersed across multiple locations but works well together. A proactive approach to communicating with your Manager and teammates is essential.
